Nancy Kwangwa is a volunteer Director at the Zimbabwe Information and Technology Empowerment Trust. She is passionate about social justice issues that empower communities. Nancy is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organisation, strategic partnership building and resource mobilisation. Nancy has over 10 years working experience in the academic environment and the non-profit sector. She uses the experience in the design of information and digital literacy programmes. She holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science both attained from the National University of Science and Technology. Nancy has acquired professional qualifications on community leadership, humanitarian project development and project monitoring and evaluation. Nancy is the Community Solutions Program Fellowship alumna, a leadership development programme offered by the U.S Department of State. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral Studies in knowledge management at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

Prudence Kadebu (Eng) is a Software Engineer and is in charge of Digital Content Development at the Zimbabwe Information and Technology Empowerment Trust. She has vast experience in, software engineering, lecturing at various levels, research, curriculum development and review, team leading, mentorship, project management. She holds a Master of Technology in Software Engineering from Delhi Technological University (India) and a BSc in Computer Science (Zimbabwe). She is an active member of the ZICT a division of Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers and Forum for African Women Educationalists Zimbabwe-FAWEZI (Harare Chapter) Vice-Secretary. Her passion for empowering women in STEM led to her receiving the 2018 STEMFem Network award for ‘Women leading in advancing ICT education’ and a 2018 Techwomen Fellowship awardedby the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. She is involved in initiatives that promote equal access to education across Zimbabwe. Prudence is currently a PhD scholar at Amity University Gurgaon, (India) with research interests in Security Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Grace Msauki is a Programs Manager at the Zimbabwe Information and Technology Empowerment Trust (ZITET). She is passionate about advancing digital rights, digital inclusion and women empowerment towards sustainable development and community development. Grace is responsible for public communication, stakeholder relation management, and coordinating of advocacy initiatives, events and digital literacy programs. She has facilitated and coordinated a number of young women empowerment programs, and has also facilitated local trainings on information and digital literacy, digital safety and digital activism at regional level. She has also run online awareness campaigns on gender based cyber-violence as a way of creating safe online spaces for young women. Grace holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science both attained from the National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe. Grace has also attained professional training and skills in digital rights advocacy, social media management and website content management.

Collen Nhendo is a Zimbabwe Information and Technology Empowerment Trust (ZITET) Programme Associate in charge of Digital and Information Literacy Instruction. He is committed to equipping students with the skills they need to participate effectively in today’s digital learning environment. Collen is responsible for designing and developing the Digital and Information Literacy Curriculum and Training Modules, as well as delivering Digital and Information Literacy skills. He has over ten years of experience in the academic environment developing digital and information literacy skills capabilities. This knowledge is put to good use in the design and implementation of information and digital literacy programmes. Collen holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science both attained from the National University of Science and Technology. He is a specialist in the fields of Information and Knowledge Management, Digital and Information literacy, Information Technology in Libraries, and Electronic Information Resources.

Ruvimbo Chivere is the Social Development Officer of the Zimbabwe Information and Technology Empowerment Trust. She is keen about social development particularly on issues of girls and women empowerment in communities. Her role in the organization is to facilitate and coordinate developmental approaches to programming, community engagement, capacity building and assist in resource mobilization. Ruvimbo has 3 years of experience working within a civil society sector on developmental social welfare for girls and women. She uses the experience to effectively engage diverse communities in digital literacy programs. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Social Work Honours Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. She has also acquired professional qualifications in Civic Engagement and Transformative Leadership. She also holds a National Certificate in HIV/AIDS Prevention and Support from the University of Zimbabwe and a UN Certificate in Comprehensive Sexuality Education from UNESCO. Ruvimbo is a member to local and international women and youth platforms for social development. She has also been selected to participate in the Community Engagement Exchange Program, a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State supported in its implementation by IREX.

Tanaka Machana is a Programme Associate of the Zimbabwe Information and Technology Empowerment Trust. He is passionate about social development. Tanaka has vast experience in banking sector, digital application development, enhancement and customization. Tanaka is responsible for administration, implementation of programme strategies, adapts processes, procedures and support to programme, projects formulation and implementation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Harare Institute of Technology.
